In the park today

Elliot had great fun running around the huge football pitch kicking a ball . 
Later he wanted to drop the ball into the net , so Pappa had to help.

Don't eat the plant , Elliot Ell

There's never a dull moment in young Elliot's day. There is always so much to do ; things to fix  and to explore.

I've tried to work out what he is saying here and I think he is saying something about the vacuum cleaner, because after filing down the wood on the chairs , pappa vacuumed up the shavings with the vacuum cleaner - 'brum brum ' :-)

Elliot spends the day with Grandma

When Elliot comes to spend the day with Grandma , he gets to help around the house; washing dishes, tidying, and peeling potatoes for lunch.

" Mmmmm not sure I like this ... "

" It doesn't taste like apple .... "

After all the housework, a relaxing trip in his carriage to first one park and then another one that Pappa found the other day on Bastu Gatan/ Tavastagatan near Montaliusvägen.  

Early on Monday morning

Elliot arrives at grandma's , early on a dull and cloudy Monday morning .


Grandma * yawns * but is happy to see Elliot . 


Some of the things we did today:

Emptied a lot of coins on the floor and put some of them back and posted some into the telephone box


Inspected several boxes of cards and put most of them back, while some remain on the floor.


Played with magnets on the fridge


Listened to Pavarotti and Leonard Cohen 


Danced

Elliot read some of Maggie Scraggle and the Ice Cream Man 

The cards that didn't get picked up and are still there . Fallen angels . 

Watched Bill and Ben and Noddy on You Tube as well as pics of cats and dogs
Elliot touched the flame on the candle and learned 'OUCH ' . He didn't cry and was not burned , fast reflexes , but did not try it again . Bless.

Ate cucumber and scrambled egg and a few grapes

Elliot and Alexander drop by today . I had a bunch of grapes on the table and Elliot wanted some. He ate and ate till he had eaten the whole lot !

Elliot gets new wellies

Grandma set the alarm for 7 a.m. this morning in order to be at Elliot's for 9 a.m. It was raining , too and standing room only on the tube , but on seeing Elliot she was soon happy again. Elliot gave Gradma lots of cuddles and showed her his teddies and some of his toys. Mamma Johanna left for work but came back at lunchtime with food for lunch and a present for Elliot- a pair of new wellies !

The boys visit.

Time flies. I am a bit behind with updating this blog. All of a sudden there is so much to do. Elliot's mum and dad are also busy ; working , packing , and the remodelling of their new home. Lots to think about.

Elliot and Alexander visit and stay for dinner. Alexander had to leave some things at the flat , but came back and stayed for dinner. 


After dinner , ( and a poo ) Elliot enjoyed running around naked. He's forever exploring and now is very good at climbing up on the sofa and armchairs.

The vacuum cleaner was still scary though. Elliot starts to cry when it is switched on. 

Saturday at Vasaparken

A lovely hot and sunny afternoon with Alexander and Elliot at Vasaparken, by the showers. Elliot enjoyed playing with water and was soon helped by both Alexander and a little girl.

Mamma goes to work and Elliot stays with Gran

It was a first ; Mamma Johanna had agreed to go into work for a couple of hours , so GranMara happily agreed to look after 'Lill Prinsen' Elliot .

Just before Mamma left , Elliot and GranMara  sat down for lunch. We waved Mamma goodbye and assured her that we would be fine. Besides . Sir Elliot had his own work to do. Here you see him doing some quality control and inspecting of cupboards. 

GranMara said that this particular cupboard under the kitchen sink was out of bounds and placed a wooden utensil through the handles , which of course had to be removed IMMEDIATELY !  Pffft !

Well , apart from all the inspecting , we also listened to Pavarotti , danced to some ethnic Indian music that Elliot had not heard and found fascinating and had cuddles on the blanket.

Mamma kept phoning to see if we were ok , and we were ... that is .. until exhaustion set in and without so much as a 'by your leave ' our Elliot sits down and starts to cry. Deep sobs. GranMara was nearly in tears too , but after a few minutes of walking around and singing , aija zuzu , our Elliot falls asleep .  zzzzzzzzzz 

An hour or so later , Mamma returns to find us having a snack again in the kitchen.

From Kuala Lumpur to Thailand

Time to leave Kuala Lumpur and  return to Thailand . You look serious , Elliot ... but then travelling is a serious business. Have a safe and enjoyable trip.

Oh and by the way , your father's cousin's son, Bailey , is one year old today. Happy Birthday Bailey. You have yet to meet some of your family Elliot  xx

Bangkok

After a month in MaePhim , Elliot and his parents move to Bangkok for sightseeing and some retail therapy .
