Champagne

Teddy needed a cuddle and a bit of a shake .

Gran Mara's necklace was fun to play with and had to be carefully inspected

Hello Teddy !

Elliot had his eye on the bottle of Champagne and was about to pour himself a glass or maybe he just saw that dad's glass needed topping up .

Elliot and Alexander come to visit

Elliot was still asleep when he arrived but woke up a few minutes later and started to cry unconsolably .. FOOD ..FOOD ..EAT !! EAT !! but  soon calmed down when he saw the bottle. Relief. Panic over.

Both my boys needed feeding. I made  beer battered scampi , stir fry veggies and rice for Alexander and me while Alexander saw to Elliot's feed. (  It was the first time I'd deep fried scampi and there was a lot of splattering - next time I'll let scampi thaw properly and dry out before I dip them in batter and deep fry them. The batter made from spelt flour and beer was good though. )

Elliot and I talked , laughed , walked and talked. He liked listening to both  'Aija Zuzu ' and 'Rock a bye baby'. He is a high maintenance baby and needs to be entertained. Today I tried whispering and few moments of silence which he seemed to enjoy. We listened to Mozart and Pavarotti both of which he seemed to appreciate.

Elliot is curious about new things, such as the plastic storage bags that I'd bought in England, exploring texture, weight, pulling , pushing , grabbing and trying to control.

Here he is examining a packet of sage that I'd bought for his dad .

Elliot likes spoons , but this big wooden one was too big and heavy.

Feeding time is bliss. " Don't you dare to take the bottle away before I'm done , dad " Mum will have a lot of milk for him when they get home. Lots of treats today.

Today , Elliot even managed a thirty minute nap today serenaded by Pavarotti.

It was wonderful to see you today Elliot and Alexander . I am so happy you came to see me.

P.S. At just four months Elliot's eyes are still a deep blue
